Past Lives - Scientific Evidence

Edgar Casey, known as the most prolific prophet of our time, was the first to bring past lives to light in the 20th Century. His many readings are archived at the connection for research and Enlightenment center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

A convincing form of confirmation that we live more than one life is demonstrated by those who have experienced past lives as a follow of spontaneous memory or hypnotic regressions. The details are documented in many countries, and the authenticity of many of these examples cannot be disputed or an alternative explanation offered.

The scientific society more often than not refutes the proof of past lives. However, there are many scientific examples, some of them extremely convincing. In a case reported by Dr. Morris Netherton an eleven-year-old boy, who when under hypnosis was taped speaking in an ancient Chinese dialect. This breathtaking taped regression was taken to a Professor at the department of Oriental Studies at the University of California, where it was found to be a recitation from a forbidden religion of ancient China. (Fisher 1986:202.)

In the past ten years, complicated independently researched reincarnation cases have emerged, which recap that from lifetime to lifetime, citizen have the same facial features, personality traits, passions and even linguistic writing style. The most compelling cases involve those in which children have spontaneous memories of a past lifetime that can be factually verified. The case of James Leininger, aired on Abc Primetime in 2005, and the case of Anne Frank/Barbro Karlen, are examples. See reference below.

Walter Semkiw, Md the author of Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited and Born Again independently researched reincarnation cases that demonstrate objective evidence of reincarnation, including the cases of neurosurgeon Norm Shealy, Police Captain Robert Snow, Asst. Fire Chief Jeff Keene, and William Barnes.

The case of Robert Snow, a Captain in the Indianapolis Police Department, in charge of the Homicide Division, was initiated on a dare by a fellow police officer. Captain Snow, in his book, looking for Carroll Beckwith, relates that he only did a regression so that it didn't look like he had "welshed on the dare." Captain Snow did not believe in reincarnation and did not expect to have a meaningful experience. After his regression, Captain Snow researched Beckwith's life by studying an broad diary found in Beckwith's belongs. Of the 28 specific memories Snow documented from the regression, such as the painting of a hunchback woman, 26 were verified through his research. Though initially reluctant to accept reincarnation as the basis for his regression experience, Captain Snow finally came to the closing that he was Carroll Beckwith in a prior lifetime. Snow states that the evidence he compiled would stand up in a court case and that no plea-bargaining would be offered if it were a murder case.

Past lives can also be derived from spontaneous memories and confirmed in past life regressions.

William Barnes, author of Thomas Andrews, travel into History, started having spontaneous past life memories when he was a child. Thomas Andrews, travel into History, is the story of Tommie Andrews, Titanic's designer. Barnes' motivation for writing this book is, in part, to clear Tommie's name of any wrongdoing in the context of Titanic's sinking and to document his vivid memory of this life time. In a recorded regression into the life of Thomas Andrews, Barnes spoke with a heavy Irish accent as he describes the ordeal of Titanic's sinking and relives his death on the deck of the great ship.

Jenny Cockell had memories of living in Ireland. She remembered facts about her old life, such as the name of her eight children. As a child Cockell drew a picture of a church and a map of her old life's childhood town, with an literal, record of her house etc. The impact of these memories disturbed her day-to-day functioning to the degree she consulted a hypnotherapist. After many past life regressions and armed with a list of several items-including two oval-shaped photos, one of her as a child and the other of a soldier she want back to the town where she lived in her old life. She not only found the house with a rabbit hutch in the back (now in disrepair) where she died at a young age, leaving her eight children motherless, she found and met seven of her living adult children from that life time. Her oldest child, a son, although reluctant to meet with her eventually agreed. Together they compared memories-only one item on Jenny's list of memories remained unsubstantiated by him. The Abc Tv program 20/20 documented the reunion including a birthday party with her oldest child of her old life.

The most profound researched proof of past live connections is documented by National Geographic Dna journey. You can gawk your own genetic journey with Dr. Spencer Wells, Deep Ancestry: Inside the Genographic Project. Dna analysis includes a depiction of your ancient ancestors and an interactive map tracing your genetic lineage colse to the world and through the ages.

Diba Ayten Yilmaz, Past Life Regression Therapist, Turkey wrote. "One of my clients is a 39 years old woman, who is a computer engineer in Ibm Turkey. At the first meeting she mentioned that she had felt an attraction to Russia since childhood. She found herself as a woman in Russia in the first Past Life Regression Therapy session. She sent her Dna sample to Genographic project of National Geographic. The results showed that her origin goes to Russia! In the second regression session she found herself as a young woman in a small village, which she called Lappland. She had been killed by German soldiers along with the entire village.

After the session both women wanted to know if Lappland existed and if so, where. They searched the Internet and saw that there was an area called Lappland in Sweden. The second interrogate was about the German soldiers. Yes, the German soldiers had killed all the citizen in the small settlement of Lappland in the late period of World War Ii.

The breathtaking thing is; after the session she checked her Genographic results again on National Geographic. The Ng follows and updates the Dna journey results and saw that her Dna has a connection to Lappland!

If you want to see her Dna results I can send it to you. You can check your Dna results on Ng or do you know man who has checked?"

Claddagh Rings

The Claddagh ring is still, after so many years, an extremely popular piece of jewelry. Women, men, and teenagers alike can be seen wearing this ring in silver or gold, with or without gemstones. The customary Claddagh ring is a fairly uncomplicated figure, with two hands clutching a heart wearing a crown. Today there are some variations of the customary ring, and the symbol itself can be represented in other forms of jewelry.

Funny enough, although population from all over the world love this symbol, few truly know the real meaning behind it. I remember purchasing a sterling silver Claddagh ring at a jewelry store in SoHo (New York City) a long time ago and the woman selling it had no idea how one was supposed to wear it, or what it symbolized. This was shocking to me because the symbolism behind this ring is the most prominent part!

Irish Names For Boys

Here is some history behind the Claddagh ring:

Claddagh Rings

  • The Claddagh ring's institute originated in the 17th century while the reign of Queen Mary Ii.
  • The name "Claddagh" comes from a Irish fishing settlement placed just face of Galway.
  • The two hands symbolize friendship, the heart symbolizes love, and the crown symbolizes loyalty.
  • When given as a gift, the ring truly means, "let love and friendship reign."
  • When the ring is worn on the right hand with the heart facing outward, this indicates that the someone wearing it is not in a serious relationship, or literally, "their heart is open."
  • When the ring is worn on the right hand with the heart facing inward, this indicates that the someone is in a association or truly that, "someone has captured their heart."
  • When the ring is worn on the left hand ring finger facing outward, this regularly indicates that the wearer is engaged.
  • When the ring is worn on the left hand ring finger facing inward, this means that the ring's owner is married.

Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour Best

Rate This Product :

Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour Overview

In Citizens of London, Lynne Olson has written a work of World War II history even more relevant and revealing than her acclaimed Troublesome Young Men. Here is the behind-the-scenes story of how the United States forged its wartime alliance with Britain, told from the perspective of three key American players in London: Edward R. Murrow, Averell Harriman, and John Gilbert Winant. Drawing from a variety of primary sources, Olson skillfully depicts the dramatic personal journeys of these men who, determined to save Britain from Hitler, helped convince a cautious Franklin Roosevelt and a reluctant American public to support the British at a critical time.

The three—Murrow, the handsome, chain-smoking head of CBS News in Europe; Harriman, the hard-driving millionaire who ran FDR’s Lend-Lease program in London; and Winant, the shy, idealistic U.S. ambassador to Britain—formed close ties with Winston Churchill and were drawn into Churchill’s official and personal circles. So intense were their relationships with the Churchills that they all became romantically involved with members of the prime minister’s family: Harriman and Murrow with Churchill’s daughter-in-law, Pamela, and Winant with his favorite daughter, Sarah.

Others were honorary “citizens of London” as well, including the gregarious, fiercely ambitious Dwight D. Eisenhower, an obscure general who, as the first commander of American forces in Britain, was determined to do everything in his power to make the alliance a success, and Tommy Hitchcock, a world-famous polo player and World War I fighter pilot who helped save the Allies’ bombing campaign against Germany.

Citizens of London, however, is more than just the story of these Americans and the world leaders they aided and influenced. It’s an engrossing account of the transformative power of personal diplomacy and, above all, a rich, panoramic tale of two cities: Washington, D.C., a lazy Southern town slowly growing into a hub of international power, and London, a class-conscious capital transformed by the Blitz into a model of stoic grace under violent pressure and deprivation. Deeply human, brilliantly researched, and beautifully written, Citizens of London is a new triumph from an author swiftly becoming one of the finest in her field.

Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour Specifications

Amazon Best Books of the Month, February 2010: Citizens of London is the story of the American firebrands who broke rank with popular opinion and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with England during the bleak infancy of World War II. Author Lynne Olson more than lives up to the critical acclaim of her last book, Troublesome Young Men, by exploring the origins of an Anglo-American alliance that helped turn the tide during the most widespread conflict in history. Although other "Yanks" rallied against the hesitancy of their isolationist government before Pearl Harbor, few matched the impact of U.S. ambassador John Gilbert Winant, businessman Averell Harriman, and broadcaster Edward R. Murrow. Each recognized the insidious dangers of Nazi aggression, and with the help of meticulous research, Olson elucidates the challenges they endured to help bridge political and cultural gaps between the United States and Britain. At a time when the English capital was described as "swimming in the full tide of history," Citizens of London echoes Tennyson in its tribute to those who strove, sought, and refused to yield. --Dave Callanan

Exclusive Q&A with Lynne Olson

Amazon.com: Your last three books (Citizens of London, Troublesome Young Men, and A Question of Honor) have focused on England during the late 1930's/early 1940's. As a historian, what draws you to this period?

Olson: I’ve been fascinated with the place and the period ever since my husband, Stan Cloud, and I wrote our first book, The Murrow Boys, about Edward R. Murrow and the correspondents he hired to create CBS News before and during World War II. Several scenes in the book take place in London during the Battle of Britain and the 1940-41 Blitz. In doing research for The Murrow Boys, I got caught up in the story of Britain’s struggle for survival in those early years of the war – and the extraordinary leadership of Winston Churchill and courage of ordinary Britons in waging that fight. I discovered that there were still a number of stories about the period that remained largely unknown and untold, so I decided to tell them myself.

Amazon.com: Had Pearl Harbor not forced America's hand, how much longer could England have lasted against Germany?

Olson: That’s an excellent “what if” question. Churchill, for one, was desperately worried that Britain would be defeated by Germany in 1942 if the United States didn’t enter the war. In the days immediately before Pearl Harbor, he knew that the Japanese were also on the move, and he was afraid they were going to strike at British territory in Asia. If that had happened, his country would have been forced into a two-front war, with no lifeline from the United States – which almost assuredly would have meant the end for Britain. So it’s no wonder than when he heard the news of Pearl Harbor on the night of Dec. 7, 1941, he was euphoric. It meant, as he later wrote, that no matter how many military setbacks lay ahead, “England would live.”

Amazon.com: In contrast to Winant and Murrow, Harriman was a bit of a bourgeois playboy. What made you include him in this book?

Olson: There’s no question that Harriman’s social life was considerably more hectic in London than that of Winant and Murrow. At the same time, however, he was a dogged, extremely hard-working administrator of Lend Lease aid for Britain, who did what he could to speed up the flow of American help to the British and who pressed the Roosevelt administration hard for more vigorous action and more direct involvement in the war. He also carved out for himself quite an influential role as conduit and buffer between Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill.

I also wanted to include Harriman for another reason – to point up the contrast between his tough-minded pragmatism and the idealism of Winant and Murrow. These three men, I think, reflected the complexity of America and its attitude to the rest of the world at that time. Winant and Murrow, who championed economic and social reform as well as international cooperation, reflected America’s idealistic side. Harriman, who was intent on broadening his own power and influence, as well as that of his country, became an exemplar of U.S. exceptionalism. In the postwar era, it was his world view that, for the most part, dominated American foreign policy.

Amazon.com: You note an almost apathetic Churchill response to American dalliances within his family. Was this a diplomatic necessity or was he simply too focused on the larger picture?

Olson: I’m not sure I would call him “apathetic.” I think that “pragmatic” would be a better word. I should also point out that it’s not an absolute certainty he knew about the affair that occurred between Averell Harriman and Pamela Churchill, the wife of his son, Randolph, which began in 1941. When Randolph later accused his father of condoning adultery under his own roof, Churchill denied any knowledge of what was going on. That being said, I do believe, as did Pamela, that he was aware of what she and Harriman were up to. Churchill loved Randolph, and while I’m sure he was not thrilled about the Pamela/Harriman affair, he knew how important Harriman and the other Americans were to the survival of Britain, and he had no intention of letting personal matters interfere with the national interest. Besides, Pamela proved to be a useful conduit for him and Harriman, passing on to each man information and insights she had found out from the other.

When Pamela took up with Edward R. Murrow later in the war, she was already separated from Randolph, and I doubt that Churchill cared one way or the other. As for the affair between his daughter, Sarah, and John Gilbert Winant, the couple kept their involvement exceptionally discreet. Sarah believed her father knew about it, but he never said anything, and I don’t think he would have minded.

Amazon.com: Talk about the lower-profile "Citizens of London" -- the brave Americans who violated their own country's laws to volunteer for the RAF.

Olson: In the late 1930s, as part of its desperate effort to keep the United States out of war, the American government did, as you note, make it illegal for any U.S. citizen to join the military service of a warring power. But, after Britain declared war on Germany in September 1939, thousands of young Americans disregarded that law and traveled to England to join the British or Canadian armed forces. Unlike the hordes of Yanks who descended on Britain just prior to D-Day, the early U.S. volunteers became an integral part of Britain’s military and society.

The best-known volunteers were those who joined the Royal Air Force. Seven U.S. citizens were counted among “The Few” – the celebrated band of RAF pilots who, in their Hurricanes and Spitfires, successfully beat back the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain in the summer and fall of 1940. Over the next several months, an additional 300-plus Americans enlisted in the RAF -- so many that they were soon given their own units, called the Eagle Squadrons. Churchill, who instantly saw what a powerful propaganda tool the American squadrons could be, enthusiastically endorsed the idea.

When the U.S. finally entered the conflict, virtually all the Americans serving in the RAF transferred to the U.S Army Air Forces. Of the 244 pilots who flew in the Eagle Squadrons, more than 40 per cent did not survive the war.

consuming Baby Boy Names and Baby Girl Names

Not long ago, one of the top trends for baby names here in the States was to give Irish names, both for boys and girls. Irish names were a big improvement in the Us,particularly for boys. It's only been since the 90s that names such as Aidan and Declan have been coarse among American children. One of the reasons might be that the name Sean became mainstream in the 1980's. Parents are now reaching even farther to find Irish names that are unique in the United States.

But beyond Irish influence, American names come from a whole slew of cultural sources. Among these are: English, Egyptian, Czechoslovakian, Gaelic, French, Italian, and Hebrew. America has always been a melting pot of people of different ethnic backgrounds. As such a person's name here doesn't necessarily tie to a singular ethnicity; Indians give their children English names, Italian children are given Irish names like "Sean". And of course popular names are strongly influenced by the popular media- by celebrities and businessmen. Dylan rose as a popular name in the 70s, almost admittedly because of the work on of Bob Dylan the decade before. Here are a few popular or emerging baby names, their meaning or definition, and their ethnic origin:

For baby boys, think Henry David Thoreau. In this case, Henry David would be all that's needed to make the name recognizable. There's also Aldo Leopold, the author of the ecological classic, A Sand County Almanac. Aldo was an American ecologistand is considered a pioneer in environmental ethics and wilderness preservation. Someone else name that comes to mind is David Brower, an environmentalist activist who founded Friends of the Earth, the League of Conservation Voters, and other environmental organizations. For baby girls, one of the most supreme environmentalists of all time was Rachel Carson. The Lighthouse Campaign

Are you a laser of light that stands for your opportunity?

I am permanently struck hard with how often even those who could be (and should be) the best evangelists of our industry are out sold by the skeptics. You have probably heard the quote: "When two population come into conversation, one all the time buys and one all the time sells." This is often -- if not all the time -- true.

Irish Names For Boys

Prospects originate deep convictions based on a lifetime of "affirmations" and experience. Most of the time, those convictions stem from a lack of result; or their perception that what we do doesn't work, doesn't work well adequate to be worth the effort, or is just plain no fun.

Prospects express these convictions with tasteless objections like: "I don't have time." "I don't have the money to get started." "I don't know anyone." "I don't like to sell." (Oh yeah ... Keep selling me on that one.)

If you think about it, even most of our distributors are nothing more than prospects who signed up. They aren't unquestionably doing any more than the hope who didn't sign up. If they are not in huge activity ... They are still just a prospect.

Too often we fall into the trap of arguing, kind of like the following dialogue from the video clip of the lighthouse that you can find on YouTube:

Somewhere In The Irish Sea

Uss Montana: Again, this is the Uss Montana, requesting that you immediately divert your procedure 15 degrees to the north to avoid a collision ... Over.

Response: Please divert your procedure 15 degrees to the South to avoid collision.

Captain Hancock of the Uss Montana: This is Captain Hancock, you will divert your procedure ... Over.

Response:  Negative Captain, I am not inviting anyone ... Turn your procedure ... Over.

Captain Hancock of the Uss Montana: Sir, this is the Uss Montana, the second largest vessel in the North Atlantic fleet. You will Turn procedure 15 degrees north, or I will be forced to take measures to ensure the safety of this ship ... Over!

Response:  This is a lighthouse, mate! It's your call. Hello?

Although I would never endorse arguing as a method of selling, the point of the lighthouse video is all about conviction. Observation the conviction of your prospects. Observation your own conviction. Whose is unquestionably rooted the deepest? Who believes in theirs the most? Who is the lighthouse and who is the ship?

Remember the cliché that goes: "If you were arrested for being a buyer and leader in your company, would there be adequate evidence to convict you?"

Would there be?

We have to believe in what we are doing, and how we are doing it, so deeply that we are at total peace with our choices.

That is integrity ... And from our integrity flows reliance ... Lighthouse-quality confidence. population are attracted to others who are at peace; those who exude integrity and confidence. Attraction is what we are after. If our prospects are attracted to who we are -- who we are being -- then they will also be attracted to what we are doing.

Do you know the history of our industry? Do you know how many decades it has been flourishing? Do you know which enterprise invented Network Marketing? Do you know the top ten or twenty companies; the estimate of new population who join us every week? Do you know technically why and how Network Marketing is legal? Do you know the names of enterprise superstars who endorse our industry? Do you have their quotes memorized?

You must be able to tell the story as if you wrote it.

Decades ago I had a breakthrough in my business. I dropped myself into the place of being a lighthouse for our industry. I love what we do. I love what it can generate for population who may never have found a way to get it done without us. I love the relationships built, and the fun along the way.

Do I all the time love how we do it? No. Do I love everybody I meet in it? No. Could our percentages of success be better? Much, but then it would be over wouldn't it?

It's like the saturation issue. If our opening were so easy and so inviting that everybody got in and everybody was successful, it would have been over a very long time ago for most people. everybody would already be in, and you would likely be at the bottom half of the "pyramid."

The challenge and the persistence required are what generate the opportunity. We get paid the big bucks to generate the breakthroughs to make it better.

This is not a mission for the faint of heart, the confused or unquestionably distracted. This is a mission for clear-headed, clear-minded, "my aliveness depends on it" warriors ... Peaceful, spiritual warriors.

The real opening in Network Marketing is not the 0 a month (or more) that can be earned. You can do that working at McDonald's part time. The real opening is wealth building ... Millionaire making, life saving, safe our country kind of stuff. Wimps need not apply.

If you only earn ,000 a month and it is real residual income, tested by the ravages of time, then your earnings has an asset value of over one million dollars. That is how much real estate or cash you would have to collect in order to earn the same ,000 a month. What about ,000 a month?

Do you think we deserve to have ,000,000 handed to us for playing small, scared, confused, distracted or for "trying?" Are we kidding?

Drop in. Drop in today. Go pro. Be worth the multimillion dollar gift. Be the lighthouse, because we need one on every rock.

P.S. Test the Try

Stuck Distributor: I can't get anyone to come to the call. I can't get anyone to watch the Dvd. I can't find any prospects. I am trying, unquestionably I am.

Leader: Ok. What if I gave you 0 cash for everybody you got to the call this week and you can't give any of it to them as a bribe? And you have to get five minimum or you get nothing. Could you get five on the call?

Stuck Distributor: Yes, of course!

Leader: Case closed.

Trying was invented eons ago as a way for girls and boys to avoid the wrath of their parents for not doing what they were told to do ... Like get good grades or getting their chores done. Parents bought it. Trying was established as a legitimate carrying out standard, when in fact it is nothing at all.

There are two options: Getting it done because you unquestionably do believe; or there is trying, working on it, getting colse to to it, learning, clearing the deck, etc., etc. - all of which falls under the label of Not Doing It.
