So I decided to make this before they were famous and there is a bit of a twist on the group! Hope you like! "Julie!" I hear Katie, my roommate, call for me. We go to Elington Academy for Talented Young Adults, a boarding school, in London, England. In other words, really smart/super talented teenagers go here. I am American but my parents don't like me and sent me here. It is wonderful. I walk out of our room and to the lounge where she is doing homework. The lounge is like a cabin. There is a huge stone fireplace. There are three very big, very comfy brown leather couches in front of the fire place. There are study tables behind the fire place thingy. I find Katie sitting there doing homework on her computer. "What do you need?" I ask. "Well, I need help with science." She points at the screen. There is something about fungus. "I don't know! My class is on space... Not this." "Come on! You are super smart and I need a good grade!" She pleads with me. "I will NOT do your homework for you! You are smart, that is the reason you got into this school, Katie." Katie can't do anything that is super talented so she is here because is really smart. "I just don't like homework." "Honey, you don't fit any stereotypes of a nerd." "Thank ya, darlin." She says in a fake country accent because she thinks I sound super country because she is British and I am American. I usually try to bag on her accent but British people's accents are just too cool. I roll my eyes at her in an,"I love ...

I am probably not qualified to give year-end awards, but here are some of my observations. TA Jones, Steve Goins, Dallas Riley, and Brian Caige have done a good job of making a name for themselves on the Gulf Coast. Ultimate Wrestling keeps building names. If it wasnt for them, fewer people would know about TA Jones, Deathrow, Joe Gibson, and Doug Pitt. Jerry Reiner, Bobby Doll and Maze continue to be solid performers that I would enjoy see getting more exposure. Sadly, I have not heard much from Omega, Vain, Kornbred, or CzR in the past year. Maybe that is my fault, as they may be rocking some indy shows up north. Thanks to Donnie, Seth, Jeff, Classic Girl, Gargoyle, Leon Scott, Neil, the Don, Madison, Vale, 19, and many others for making this board an interesting place in our first year. In 2009, WXW and Vintage emerged as solid up and coming companies in Florida. Great job in creating something of value. Rik Roberts is clearly one of the most improved wrestlers this year. Great job Rik. Your gimmick and skill in the ring look a lot better. Simon Sez, Eric Cooper, The Biff, and Josh Rayne have done a great job developing their skills and becoming mainstays in Central Florida. I have to admit that I am impressed with how the Hatchet City All Stars have become established in WXW. Jordi, the BSM, and the Gargoyle and Neil should all be put in the running for fan of the year. Somebody should be looking at the Irish Blood Bath and the Sideshow/Mandrake match for the most ...

Our Irish pubs are illustrious the world over, as there's no better place to enjoy, good food, good drink and good craic! This is also where you'll find some of the best Irish music and Irish dancing, so make sure to pop down to the local watering hole when you're here, and don't worry - you're never too far from a original Irish pub no matter where you stay!
If you want to listen to some good old Irish songs, then head to the pub. Look for a original Irish pub, which commonly has music every night during July and August. If you're here in the quieter months, pubs are likely to have entertainment only on Saturday nights. The best way to find a good music session is just to perambulate around the town and see for yourself. Most pubs will have music advertised in the local paper or maybe on a billboard or observation board at the entry to the pub. (Check out our list of Irish pubs).
Irish Names For Boys
There are thousands of Irish songs, some still sung in Gaelic (Irish language) but most nowadays sung in the English language. One of the most beloved Irish songs you're likely to hear while in Ireland is the Fields of Athenry. It's a folk song about the Great Irish Famine (1845), but was only composed in the 1970's. Today, this song has become one of our favourite national songs and not only is it the anthem for County Galway and Ireland but also Glasgow Celtic Fc.

Angela's Ashes: A Memoir Overview
“When I look back on my childhood I wonder how I managed to survive at all. It was, of course, a miserable childhood: the happy childhood is hardly worth your while. Worse than the ordinary miserable childhood is the miserable Irish childhood, and worse yet is the miserable Irish Catholic childhood.”
So begins the luminous memoir of Frank McCourt, born in Depression-era Brooklyn to recent Irish immigrants and raised in the slums of Limerick, Ireland. Frank’s mother, Angela, has no money to feed the children since Frank’s father, Malachy, rarely works, and when he does he drinks his wages. Yet Malachy—exasperating, irresponsible, and beguiling—does nurture in Frank an appetite for the one thing he can provide: a story. Frank lives for his father’s tales of Cuchulain, who saved Ireland, and of the Angel on the Seventh Step, who brings his mother babies.
Perhaps it is story that accounts for Frank’s survival. Wearing rags for diapers, begging a pig’s head for Christmas dinner and gathering coal from the roadside to light a fire, Frank endures poverty, near-starvation and the casual cruelty of relatives and neighbors—yet lives to tell his tale with eloquence, exuberance, and remarkable forgiveness.
Angela’s Ashes, imbued on every page with Frank McCourt’s astounding humor and compassion, is a glorious book that bears all the marks of a classic.
Angela's Ashes: A Memoir Specifications
Frank McCourt's haunting memoir takes on new life when the author reads from his Pulitzer Prize-winning book. Recounting scenes from his childhood in New York City and Limerick, Ireland, McCourt paints a brutal yet poignant picture of his early days when there was rarely enough food on the table, and boots and coats were a luxury. In a melodic Irish voice that often lends a gentle humor to the unimaginable, the author remembers his wayward yet adoring father who was forever drinking what little money the family had. He recounts the painful loss of his siblings to avoidable sickness and hunger, a proud mother reduced to begging for charity, and the stench of the sewage-strewn streets that ran outside the front door. As McCourt approaches adolescence, he discovers the shame of poverty and the beauty of Shakespeare, the mystery of sex and the unforgiving power of the Irish Catholic Church. This powerful and heart-rending testament to the resiliency and determination of youth is populated with memorable characters and moments, and McCourt's interpretation of the narrative and the voices it contains will leave listeners laughing through their tears.

Another beloved Irish song is Danny Boy. This is an additional one Irish folk song, which was first written about 1913, although it's a bit unclear where this song originated from. It has been recorded by a long list of bands and singers which include Bing Crosby, Cher, Johnny Cash, Charlotte Church, Elvis and Thin Lizzy to name a few.
Other Irish songs you'll hear include the favourites When Irish Eyes are Smiling, The Wild Rover, The Auld Triangle, The Irish Rover, Whiskey in the Jar, Some say the devil is Dead, Black is the Colour, My Irish Molly, Fiddlers Green, Seven Drunken Nights, Rare Ould Mountain Dew, Black Velvet Band, The Streets of New York and the Rare Ould Times.
Each county in Ireland is also represented by its own song. Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys Overview
While working on the two "Pirates Of The Carribean" films, Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski became fascinated with the lore and fable of the pirates and sailors who ran the high seas. Enter legendary producer Hal Wilner, who brings his knack for matching maverick musicians with extraordinary material. Artists on this double disc set include Bono, Sting, Nick Cave, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed, Richard Thompson, Lucinda Williams, Jarvis Cocker of Pulp, and many more. "Rogue's Gallery" offers a look at the hardships, the horrors, the lusts and lurid depths, and the crystal beauty that led men to the sea in ships for hundreds of years.
Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys Specifications
Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski hatched the idea for Rogue's Gallery while filming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"--that idea being to cast genteel rock superstars like Bono, Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry, Andre Corr, and Sting to reinterpret gritty seafaring standards for an exhaustive 43-track double-disc set produced by Hal Wilner. Throw in a bunch of credible folk stars (Loudon Wainwright III, Richard Thompson), their offspring (Rufus, Teddy) and a string of other curious characters (Jarvis Cocker, Antony) and what results is one of the strangest compilations in recent memory, if not exactly the most historically authentic or, well, digestible. Nick Cave embraces the role just a little too hard on "Fire Down Below," while Ferry can't help but sound like he's singing for the cast of "The Love Boat," but cut through the chaff and there is some real bootie here: Bono's "Dying Sailor to His Shipmates," Jolie Holland's "The Grey Funnel Line" and "Boney" by a mysterious tramp called Jack Sh**, which must be some kind of anagram for Johnny Depp. --Aidin Vaziri

Harry, A History: The True Story of a Boy Wizard, His Fans, and Life Inside the Harry Potter Phenomenon Overview
The Harry Potter Books Were Just The Beginning of the Story...
During the brief span of just one decade, hundreds of millions of perfectly ordinary people made history: they became the only ones who would remember what it was like when the Harry Potter saga was still unfinished. What it was like to seek out friends, families, online forums, fan fiction, and podcasts to get a fix between novels. When the potential death of a character was a hotter bet than the World Series. When the unfolding story of a boy wizard changed the way books are read for all time.
And as webmistress of the Leaky Cauldron, one of the most popular Harry Potter sites on the Internet, Melissa Anelli had a front row seat to it all. Whether it was helping Scholastic stop leaks and track down counterfeiters, hosting live PotterCasts at bookstores across the country, touring with the wizard rock band Harry and the Potters, or traveling to Edinburgh to interview J. K. Rowling personally, Melissa was at the center of the Harry Potter tornado, and nothing about her life would ever be the same.
The Harry Potter books are a triumph of the imagination that did far more than break sales records for all time. They restored the world's sense of wonder and took on a magical life of their own. Now the series has ended, but the story is not over. With remembrances from J. K. Rowling's editors, agents, publicists, fans, and Rowling herself, Melissa Anelli takes us on a personal journey through every aspect of the Harry Potter phenomenon -- from his very first spell to his lasting impact on the way we live and dream.

Shakespeare will maybe laugh at this effort to find unique baby girl's name. He said that no matter by what name you call a rose - a rose is a rose and will smell as sweet. It cannot be denied that by giving a unique name to the baby we hope to instill in it unavoidable values that the name carries - values that will adhere to the person till its last days.
For instance any name related with the grand city of Alexandria will bring to the forefront not only the great metropolis but also one of the many rulers of all times who first ventured out on this path of globalization. The name Sheila means one who is self-disciplined. Brittany will conjure up images of Britain ruling the waves with the magic of the English language.
Names like pearls and diamonds dazzle with wealth. May the child never be in want. Trinity refers to the holy trinity of the Bible -the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The name will imbibe in the newborn spiritual powers that will be her guiding force through life. Shanti means peace. It is a unique universal name that will end all strife. A name is very leading in that it enters the sub-conscious of the person. For a girl it is especially so because the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.

Because there are quite often two habitancy selecting the name, according on one or two choices is difficult. What is worse, both parties ordinarily turn their minds some times during this process.
In addition to the two original name givers, there are ordinarily some 'pressure wielders' for each of the original name givers. Cinderella Man [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] Specifications
For this movie about 1930s boxer Jim Braddock (Russell Crowe), director Ron Howard interrupted his longtime collaboration with composer James Horner and teamed up with Thomas Newman. It’s a wise decision: Newman has a lighter touch and his somber palette emphasizes the fact that Cinderella Man is more thoughtful drama than mere brawling flick (even a track titled "Pugilism" eschews obvious punchiness in favor of ominous, rolling tribal-like percussion. Elsewhere, "Weehawken Ferry" illustrates Newman's ability to write swelling, majestic music that's not bombastic. Typical of the subdued approach is Paul Giamatti’s version of "Londonderry Air," which he delicately whistles. The score is interspersed with a few lovely Depression-era tunes such as Chicago tenor saxist Bud Freeman’s "Tillie¹s Downtown Now," Roane's Pennsylvanians' "We’ve Got to Put that Sun Back in the Sky," and especially Eddie Cantor’s wonderfully biting "Cheer Up, Smile, Nertz" ("Our judges are queer/Our banks disappear/And all the while they tell us to smiiiiile"). --Elisabeth Vincentelli

The ten most popular boynames over the last 100 years have been Charles, James, John, Joseph, Mark, Michael, Richard, Robert, Thomas, and William. Unfortunately looking the ten most popular girl name over that same time period was much more problematic. Girl's names are much trendier and there are fewer clear winners. The top girl's name for the past 100 years was Mary, with the name Elizabeth in a somewhat distant second.
Because of tradition, boys are often named after their fathers or grandfathers, which is why there will probably all the time be more name patterns among boys than girls, but even that is changing. Baby names ordinarily ride a wave of popularity and then dissipate never to be used again.
So without a crystal ball, nobody can truly predict the most popular baby name for any year, but statistics do help us out. Though some of these names can be used for both boys or girls, the most popular name for this year will be: Asher, Benjamin, Braden, Elijah, Emmett, Gavin, Grayson, Hank, Isaac, Jackson, Jake, Jonah, Judah, Jude, Logan, Mason, Max, Owen, Ryder, and Rob for the boys, and Addison, Elizabeth, Ella, Faith, Hannah, Hayden, Helena, Isabelle, Isla, Kendall, Kendra, Khloe, Kourtney, Peyton, Rebekah, Riley, Rose, Ruby, Scarlett, and Taylor for the girls.
