The scientific society more often than not refutes the proof of past lives. However, there are many scientific examples, some of them extremely convincing. In a case reported by Dr. Morris Netherton an eleven-year-old boy, who when under hypnosis was taped speaking in an ancient Chinese dialect. This breathtaking taped regression was taken to a Professor at the department of Oriental Studies at the University of California, where it was found to be a recitation from a forbidden religion of ancient China. In the past ten years, complicated independently researched reincarnation cases have emerged, which recap that from lifetime to lifetime, citizen have the same facial features, personality traits, passions and even linguistic writing style. The most compelling cases involve those in which children have spontaneous memories of a past lifetime that can be factually verified. Walter Semkiw, Md the author of Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited and Born Again independently researched reincarnation cases that demonstrate objective evidence of reincarnation, including the cases of neurosurgeon Norm Shealy, Police Captain Robert Snow, Asst. Fire Chief Jeff Keene, and William Barnes.

The case of Robert Snow, a Captain in the Indianapolis Police Department, in charge of the Homicide Division, was initiated on a dare by a fellow police officer. Captain Snow, in his book, looking for Carroll Beckwith, relates that he only did a regression so that it didn't look like he had "welshed on the dare." Captain Snow did not believe in reincarnation and did not expect to have a meaningful experience. After his regression, Captain Snow researched Beckwith's life by studying an broad diary found in Beckwith's belongs. Of the 28 specific memories Snow documented from the regression, such as the painting of a hunchback woman, 26 were verified through his research. Though initially reluctant to accept reincarnation as the basis for his regression experience, Captain Snow finally came to the closing that he was Carroll Beckwith in a prior lifetime. Snow states that the evidence he compiled would stand up in a court case and that no plea-bargaining would be offered if it were a murder case.

Past lives can also be derived from spontaneous memories and confirmed in past life regressions.

William Barnes, author of Thomas Andrews, travel into History, started having spontaneous past life memories when he was a child. Jenny Cockell had memories of living in Ireland. She remembered facts about her old life, such as the name of her eight children. The Abc Tv program 20/20 documented the reunion including a birthday party with her oldest child of her old life.

The Claddagh ring is still, after so many years, an extremely popular piece of jewelry. Women, men, and teenagers alike can be seen wearing this ring in silver or gold, with or without gemstones. The customary Claddagh ring is a fairly uncomplicated figure, with two hands clutching a heart wearing a crown. Today there are some variations of the customary ring, and the symbol itself can be represented in other forms of jewelry.

Funny enough, although population from all over the world love this symbol, few truly know the real meaning behind it. I remember purchasing a sterling silver Claddagh ring at a jewelry store in SoHo (New York City) a long time ago and the woman selling it had no idea how one was supposed to wear it, or what it symbolized. Amazon.com: Your last three books (Citizens of London, Troublesome Young Men, and A Question of Honor) have focused on England during the late 1930's/early 1940's. As a historian, what draws you to this period?

Olson: I’ve been fascinated with the place and the period ever since my husband, Stan Cloud, and I wrote our first book, The Murrow Boys, about Edward R. Murrow and the correspondents he hired to create CBS News before and during World War II. Several scenes in the book take place in London during the Battle of Britain and the 1940-41 Blitz. In doing research for The Murrow Boys, I got caught up in the story of Britain’s struggle for survival in those early years of the war – and the extraordinary leadership of Winston Churchill and courage of ordinary Britons in waging that fight. I discovered that there were still a number of stories about the period that remained largely unknown and untold, so I decided to tell them myself.

Olson: That’s an excellent “what if” question. Churchill, for one, was desperately worried that Britain would be defeated by Germany in 1942 if the United States didn’t enter the war. In the days immediately before Pearl Harbor, he knew that the Japanese were also on the move, and he was afraid they were going to strike at British territory in Asia. If that had happened, his country would have been forced into a two-front war, with no lifeline from the United States – which almost assuredly would have meant the end for Britain. So it’s no wonder than when he heard the news of Pearl Harbor on the night of Dec. 7, 1941, he was euphoric. It meant, as he later wrote, that no matter how many military setbacks lay ahead, “England would live.”

Amazon.com: In contrast to Winant and Murrow, Harriman was a bit of a bourgeois playboy. What made you include him in this book?

Olson: There’s no question that Harriman’s social life was considerably more hectic in London than that of Winant and Murrow. At the same time, however, he was a dogged, extremely hard-working administrator of Lend Lease aid for Britain, who did what he could to speed up the flow of American help to the British and who pressed the Roosevelt administration hard for more vigorous action and more direct involvement in the war. He also carved out for himself quite an influential role as conduit and buffer between Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill.

I also wanted to include Harriman for another reason – to point up the contrast between his tough-minded pragmatism and the idealism of Winant and Murrow. These three men, I think, reflected the complexity of America and its attitude to the rest of the world at that time. Amazon.com: You note an almost apathetic Churchill response to American dalliances within his family. Was this a diplomatic necessity or was he simply too focused on the larger picture?

Olson: I’m not sure I would call him “apathetic.” I think that “pragmatic” would be a better word. I should also point out that it’s not an absolute certainty he knew about the affair that occurred between Averell Harriman and Pamela Churchill, the wife of his son, Randolph, which began in 1941. When Randolph later accused his father of condoning adultery under his own roof, Churchill denied any knowledge of what was going on. That being said, I do believe, as did Pamela, that he was aware of what she and Harriman were up to. Churchill loved Randolph, and while I’m sure he was not thrilled about the Pamela/Harriman affair, he knew how important Harriman and the other Americans were to the survival of Britain, and he had no intention of letting personal matters interfere with the national interest. Besides, Pamela proved to be a useful conduit for him and Harriman, passing on to each man information and insights she had found out from the other.

When Pamela took up with Edward R. Murrow later in the war, she was already separated from Randolph, and I doubt that Churchill cared one way or the other. As for the affair between his daughter, Sarah, and John Gilbert Winant, the couple kept their involvement exceptionally discreet. Sarah believed her father knew about it, but he never said anything, and I don’t think he would have minded.

Olson: In the late 1930s, as part of its desperate effort to keep the United States out of war, the American government did, as you note, make it illegal for any U.S. citizen to join the military service of a warring power. But, after Britain declared war on Germany in September 1939, thousands of young Americans disregarded that law and traveled to England to join the British or Canadian armed forces. Prospects express these convictions with tasteless objections like: "I don't have time." "I don't have the money to get started." "I don't know anyone." "I don't like to sell." (Oh yeah ... Keep selling me on that one.)

If you think about it, even most of our distributors are nothing more than prospects who signed up. They aren't unquestionably doing any more than the hope who didn't sign up. If they are not in huge activity ... They are still just a prospect.

Too often we fall into the trap of arguing, kind of like the following dialogue from the video clip of the lighthouse that you can find on YouTube:

Although I would never endorse arguing as a method of selling, the point of the lighthouse video is all about conviction. Observation the conviction of your prospects. Observation your own conviction. Whose is unquestionably rooted the deepest? Who believes in theirs the most? Who is the lighthouse and who is the ship?

Remember the cliché that goes: "If you were arrested for being a buyer and leader in your company, would there be adequate evidence to convict you?"

Would there be?

We have to believe in what we are doing, and how we are doing it, so deeply that we are at total peace with our choices.

That is integrity ... And from our integrity flows reliance ... Lighthouse-quality confidence. population are attracted to others who are at peace; those who exude integrity and confidence. Attraction is what we are after. If our prospects are attracted to who we are -- who we are being -- then they will also be attracted to what we are doing.

Do you know the history of our industry? Do you know how many decades it has been flourishing? Do you know which enterprise invented Network Marketing? Do you know the top ten or twenty companies; the estimate of new population who join us every week? Do you know technically why and how Network Marketing is legal? Do you know the names of enterprise superstars who endorse our industry? Do you have their quotes memorized?

You must be able to tell the story as if you wrote it.

Decades ago I had a breakthrough in my business. I dropped myself into the place of being a lighthouse for our industry. I love what we do. I love what it can generate for population who may never have found a way to get it done without us. I love the relationships built, and the fun along the way.

Do I all the time love how we do it? No. Do I love everybody I meet in it? No. Could our percentages of success be better? Much, but then it would be over wouldn't it?

It's like the saturation issue. If our opening were so easy and so inviting that everybody got in and everybody was successful, it would have been over a very long time ago for most people. everybody would already be in, and you would likely be at the bottom half of the "pyramid."

The challenge and the persistence required are what generate the opportunity. We get paid the big bucks to generate the breakthroughs to make it better.

This is not a mission for the faint of heart, the confused or unquestionably distracted. This is a mission for clear-headed, clear-minded, "my aliveness depends on it" warriors ... Peaceful, spiritual warriors.

The real opening in Network Marketing is not the 0 a month (or more) that can be earned. You can do that working at McDonald's part time. The real opening is wealth building ... Millionaire making, life saving, safe our country kind of stuff. Wimps need not apply.

If you only earn ,000 a month and it is real residual income, tested by the ravages of time, then your earnings has an asset value of over one million dollars. That is how much real estate or cash you would have to collect in order to earn the same ,000 a month. What about ,000 a month?

Jerry Reiner, Bobby Doll and Maze continue to be solid performers that I would enjoy see getting more exposure. Sadly, I have not heard much from Omega, Vain, Kornbred, or CzR in the past year. Maybe that is my fault, as they may be rocking some indy shows up north. Thanks to Donnie, Seth, Jeff, Classic Girl, Gargoyle, Leon Scott, Neil, the Don, Madison, Vale, 19, and many others for making this board an interesting place in our first year. In 2009, WXW and Vintage emerged as solid up and coming companies in Florida. Great job in creating something of value. Rik Roberts is clearly one of the most improved wrestlers this year. Great job Rik. Your gimmick and skill in the ring look a lot better. Simon Sez, Eric Cooper, The Biff, and Josh Rayne have done a great job developing their skills and becoming mainstays in Central Florida. I have to admit that I am impressed with how the Hatchet City All Stars have become established in WXW. Jordi, the BSM, and the Gargoyle and Neil should all be put in the running for fan of the year. Somebody should be looking at the Irish Blood Bath and the Sideshow/Mandrake match for the most ...

Johnny Depp and director Gore Verbinski hatched the idea for Rogue's Gallery while filming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"--that idea being to cast genteel rock superstars like Bono, Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry, Andre Corr, and Sting to reinterpret gritty seafaring standards for an exhaustive 43-track double-disc set produced by Hal Wilner. Throw in a bunch of credible folk stars (Loudon Wainwright III, Richard Thompson), their offspring (Rufus, Teddy) and a string of other curious characters (Jarvis Cocker, Antony) and what results is one of the strangest compilations in recent memory, if not exactly the most historically authentic or, well, digestible. Nick Cave embraces the role just a little too hard on "Fire Down Below," while Ferry can't help but sound like he's singing for the cast of "The Love Boat," but cut through the chaff and there is some real bootie here: Bono's "Dying Sailor to His Shipmates," Jolie Holland's "The Grey Funnel Line" and "Boney" by a mysterious tramp called Jack Sh**, which must be some kind of anagram for Johnny Depp. --Aidin Vaziri
